My cheap fake gold jewelry is turning silver in some places! Is there anything I can use to paint it gold?

I bought some necklaces and earrings at forever21, Claire's, Charlotte Russe...etc. It was gold but its beginning to turn silver especially in the back and on the chain. Is there any type of paint I can use that wont come off or look wierd to turn it gold again? I do really like it, it just looks trashy if the gold comes off. Any ideas?
