I was hit by a car was a pedestrian crossing @a crosswalk, how do I pay for all these pay for all these bills?

I was severly injured, the driver of the vehicle's insurance paid for my first 21 physiotherapy visits..and thats it. I have had to pay for the ambulance bill, additional Physio appts (which my physiotherapist requested), appt with a specialist. I have extended health care, but it only pays for 2 Physio visits. I hired a lawyer,he told me I need to pay upfront then I will be reinbursted in my settlement. I dont know whAt to do, I'm 20 years old I get paid 13/hr I can't afford this. My question is, what do people do in these situations? Do they get a visa? Or a loan? I don't know what to do pls help everybody
