So if your car has a recall from say...Ford Vans do you need to pay for tax or insurance on a rental due to it?

Ford is not keeping anyone in a rental for 4 months, If the van comes in, and the problems to far gone to fix, they offer fair market value (last one I heard was 5,300 for an 02 ) IF YOUR VEHICLE IS UNFIXABLE, YOU GET A CHOICE, you need to sign a release and take your car back, or accept the check and go buy another car.
