What should i go to school for?

Hello I am in a dilenma. I would appreciate any input. I was thinking about automotive technician because I enjoy working on cars but I do realize that working on cars for a hobby and working on cars for a living are totally different things. I really got discouraged when i started looking at auto mechanics and realized most of them are frustrated. Now I am thinking about going a different route, I do like working with my hands and it does not have to be necessarily working on a car. I was thinking HVAC, Welding, Electrician, Plumbing, or even Locksmith.
